The seminar «1st Joint Training Program on Systemic Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases», which was organized by the Department of Pathophysiology – Medical School of the University of Athens and the Division of Rheumatology of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD, USA became an event that is climate friendly and environmentally friendly, by applying the methodology and the procedures of the Neutral Seal, the innovative service of counterbalancing the CO2 emissions. The carbon footprint was calculated according to the World Resources Institute / World Business Council for Sustainable Development protocol (the GHG protocol), by applying a direct and complete approach and in full compliance to the ISO 14064 standard.
